I've heard many, many times stoneware is naturally non-stick. i've never had good luck with stoneware. I have a few stoneware pans, different shapes, different manufacturers/artists. Everything sticks unless I spray it. As you did your testing, did you spray the stoneware? Is stoneware actually non stick? Thanks for the article. I will make my brownies in a metal pan from now on, I used to use glass and the sides would get overdone before the middle was done. Now i know, i was using the wrong pan.
