Hello!
I live in San Francisco CA and my sister sent me some of her 14 year old starter for New Orleans. I have been feeding it and keeping it at room temperature lightly covered with a towel, and I milled some wheat so it could have a whole grain welcome, but it is not rising...tiny little bubbles, but no change in volume. It smells good, and no sign of mold... Is there hope for it? What should I do do you think? Thanks!
