I have a quick question. I have a homemade starter. I think it is in good shape. The problem I am having is that when I make bread, the bread doesn't seem to rise very well. I put it in the oven turned off and no light for about 10-15 hours, but it doesn't rise that well. How can I start troubleshooting the problem? I am new at this obviously.
