Hello! I'm trying my first starter and I have no idea if I'm doing it correctly. I'm on day 6. I started with 1/2 AP flour and 1/2 King Arthur whole wheat flour along with water to equal the weight of the combined flours. It's in a glass jar with a lid. I've been feeding once a day with a similar mix of the flours and waters. It seems sluggish - It looks like when I started, except that there are a few bubbles lying on the surface, but nothing puffing up from underneath. The volume seems to stay the same. It smells like wet flour with a bit of vinegar. It stays in the kitchen at room temperature. Am I doing something wrong?
