Hi Barb,

I just acquired a starter from a friend that made it recently. I keep my starter in the fridge most days to delay the feedings. Last night I took it out of the fridge, fed it 1 cup flour and water, and left it on the counter hoping to make bread today. This morning it is not looking like the healthy, bubble filled starters I have had in the past. There were very few bubbles and not much changed overnight. Any ideas of why it wasn't very bubbly? Thanks!
