Barb, I'm having a bit of a problem with my starter, hoping you can tell me if it's savable. I created the starter earlier this year and it was great - live and thriving. When this whole mess started I had a hard time finding flour to feed daily so I place it in the fridge to feed weekly. When I took it out the first time there was a little (< ounce) of clear hooch which I reincorporated before feeding. It didn't rise after 12 hours, so I poured off 240g and feed it again. I have done so now for 4 days. It bubbles, and it smells wonderful, it's just not rising.
