Hi! I’ve made my first sourdough starter. All the recipes I see call for it passing the float test which it did not. My starter is the consistency of pancake batter, maybe a tiny bit thicker. It rises and bubbles Though. The recipe I was following said to do 1/4 cup of water with 3/8 cup of flour. Now doing more research, should I have been doing a 1:1 ratio? Do I need to start over?
