Hi Barb,
I moved it to a warmer location and have made sure to feed it twice a day. It is an AP flour starter, I used WW flour a little when I first started it about a year ago. When I feed, I keep between 75 g of starter, and feed it 75 g of water and AP flour. It is kept in a 16 oz plastic container (like a clean yogurt container or take out container that I use only for the starter), with the container top loosely sitting on top so it doesn't dry out. I have a picture of it with the weird greyness that I could send to the customer care email if that would help! Or send me an email and I can reply with the picture. Thank you SO much for your guidance. It still smells and looks (in terms of consistency) the way it should, but it's just not growing, so I am hoping that it is still viable! Moving it to the warmer spot since Sunday (before I saw your response, so I am happy my actions were a good guess of what to do!) has made it look slightly better :)
