I’ve had my starter for a 3-4 years, it usually lives in the fridge and I take out some to bake a couple times a week. Lately however anytime the starter is out and not fed for more than a day or a couple of days the hooch is slightly pink EVERY time. In the fridge when it’s neglected my starter hooch is normal colour, slightly dark but no pink though, it’s only once it’s out and warm. Has my starter gone bad? I started a brand new one a week ago, I forgot to feed it last night and late today it’s hooch looked pink too… what’s could be going on? Help!!
