Hi I’m on day 6 of my sourdough starter, I’ve been feeding 40grams of rye flour and water every 24hours except this time I accidentally missed by 6 hours and was smelling a little like nail polish and I noticed 2 very small white dots on the surface, I discarded half to remove the white dots and fed again with the same quantities. Seems to be going okay it’s bubbled in the few hours following the feeding. Is it safe to continue as long as no what I’m assuming was mould appears or best to start again?
