I put my starter in the fridge when it was halfway deflated, and forgot about it for a couple of weeks. It came out with a dark gray hooch and underneath was very pasty and thick, almost like peanut butter, but once I tossed the hooch and top layer, and spooned out the thick starter, it loosened up a bit. I went ahead and fed it and left it on the counter, but half a day later it doesn't look like it is doing too much. Should I toss it? It did not have any mold and smelled like my starter usually does! Thank you in advance!!
