When I learned how to make my starter, I was told to leave it out and feed it for fourteen days every day, and then after that once a week for forever, but they never said if I should ever refrigerate it, so, I’ve had it out all this time. It appears to be fine, but I do notice that mine is thicker than some starters I see. Should I toss it and make a new one? I have fed it faithfully, and it bubbles and rises as a starter. My starter is about three months old. Thank you for your help.
