I began my starter (first timer) 7 days ago, using a recipe calling for 25g each rye flour and water at each feeding, with no discarding. I got some good bubbles days 3/4, but activity dropped and I was getting liquid on top of the starter. I increased feedings from every 24hrs to every 12hrs, and more in getting very fine bubbles on to, but very little rise. I'm keeping it at about 72-75 degrees. Is there anything I should change about what I'm doing, or just be patient? Should I discharged some of the mass? My 32oz Mason jar is about half full.
