I followed the recipe here for the starter 113g of whole wheat flour +113g water. I am having a hard time understanding what consistency it should be on day one. I was able to combine it. Is the target texture like a thick pancake batter? if so 113g of water is far too little.
On day two it didn't show any difference. However, the dark clear liquid is on top. I didn't touch it last night. As today would be day 3 , should I try to feed it even if I do not see growth? Dump the liquid? Or should I start all over not using whole wheat flour? Why is mine so stiff if I am using the KA whole wheat flour?
