Hi Christy, I would try giving your starter a few days of twice a day feedings at room temperature and see if it doubles in size within about 8 hours. You need to see this type of rising behavior if your starter is going to be able to contribute to raising your bread. If the starter isn't responding well to these feedings, then you may want to start over.
