Sorry, but I just wanted to add to my comment.... when I'm feeding my starter, I put it in a bell jar, using a lid with a hole (the ones for a straw). When I stick it in the fridge, I typically switch to a solid lid. I didn't do that this time because I thought I'd get it out a day or so later. I mention it because I'm wondering if leaving that little bit open could be bad if there's stuff in the fridge? Sorry but I'm kind of a worrier. Again, no discoloration and the aroma is the usual...but.... Thx
