Hello. I left my starter in the fridge for about 2-3 months without feeding it. As expected when i took it out there was a dark color hooch on it's surface. I threw that away and started feeding it daily for 10-12 days. Gradually my starter showed normal activity and now doubles in size a few hours after being fed. The problem that occured though is the smell. When the starter is on it's peak of activity it produces a very unpleasant smell(like poo? I don't know how to describe it). When put back in the fridge and left there for about a week without daily feeds it gives that vinegary pleasant smell again. Should i throw it away and start over? Or should i bake a loaf and see what flavor i get. Thanks in advance. Best regards Loizos
