This is my first sourdough starter. I followed directions . 1/3 flour 1/3wheat flour and 1/3 luke warm water. The first day nothing happened, not one bubble so I left it for another day to feed and the 2nd day same thing. I threw it out. Started a new one and it actually had bubbles I was carrying it in my hand and dropped the glass jar and it broke. Started another one , when I checked it, it was all water. So I started a new one today. What am I doing wrong? It is so frustrating. I can't figure out what I am doing wrong.
