I forgot to check my starter that was in the fridge for a few weeks. I had the common gray layer on top I've seen before, but this time it was kinda fuzzy on the top. I mixed it up and fed it equal portions of flour and water and am letting it sit a room temp for the day. I didn't see any orange colors, but am concerned about the fuzz. Should I discard or is this still safe to use?
