No worries, Charlie! 1/4 cup of starter is more than enough starter to keep it going; it will just take a bit longer for it to ripen if you offered it the same amount of water/flour you normally do. This isn't harmful to your starter at all, it just takes a bit longer for it to process a relatively larger meal. If it still seems sluggish once it ripens, a day or two of twice a day feedings at room temperature should bring it back to its normal vitality.
