My starters keep developing orange mould even though I use them 2-3 times per week and I'm having to periodically chuck them and start again. In general my starter does seem to be quite sluggish and inactive and takes a while to get going when I take some out for baking. Any tips on how to rectify the problem? I see lots written online about how orange mould is bad but not much about how to rectify the problem of a sluggish starter.
