Hi Aaron, I'm sorry I wasn't able to respond to your question in a more timely fashion! If you're in need of more immediate assistance, please don't hesitate to contact our Baker's Hotline at 855-371-2253. We're here M-F from 9am-9pm EST, and Saturday and Sunday from 9am-5pm EST, and we'd love to talk sourdough with you! I don't think your measuring error would have caused any issues whatsoever, so I hope you were able to soldier on with confidence. I do find measuring with a scale is easier and more accurate, but if you don't have a scale try to be as consistent as you can, and don't worry if you make minor errors along the way. As long as you're feeding your starter regularly and fairly consistently, it can easily bounce back from any minor changes or lapses. Good luck and let us know how it goes!
