Hi Barb,
I have been very diligent in feeding my starter every 12 hours. It almost triples with lots of bubbles, but it will not pass the float test!! This is my second attempt at making bread but it didn't rise like it should. My first batch of starter took almost 3 weeks before it passed he float test. We went on vacation for 5 days and I put it in the fridge then once I came home, I started feeding it twice a day again and it's going on 3 weeks again. It looks great and smells great, but wonder why it's not floating... any ideas??
