Hi Barb. Today would have been day 3 following the King Arthur Sourdough starter and there are pink stuff everywhere. I am within the same timeframe, storing in a glass mason jar covered with a cloth, in the non-air conditioned pantry off of the kitchen, so probably 78 to 80 degrees (Florida). I read that the pink is usually from neglect, however, I fed the mixture yesterday at the same time. What am I doing wrong? Thank you for all of your guidance in this blog area.
Sincerely,
Kristi
