Hi Barb, My starter is ripe and ready to go as of today. Yay! My question is about all of the discard that I have. There is about two and a half quarts of it in my fridge as i have been keeping it since I started this project May 16th. Does it go bad after a certain time? I have seen the discard recipes on the King Arthur site and tried the blueberry muffins - they were good, but I want to use more of my discard if it's still usable. Thanks for your help.
