I started off using rye flour and after 7 days my starter passed the float test. I then changed to AP cause I was running out. I noticed that the activity diminished quite a bit. I switched to bread flour and again barely any activity. I tried then with whole wheat and still it appears my starter doesn’t like it as there is little activity. Before with rye, it would double up in a few hours. Have I ruined my starter?
