I've been following the recipe as stated, starting with KAF whole wheat and then feeding the second day with KAF AP. Before feeding on Day 2, the starter rises like 2-3x its original level. But then after feeding with KAF AP on Day 2, it never seems to rise even with more frequent feeding by Day 2. Also, the starter gets really really runny. The starter is stored in a cupboard around 71 deg F in a glass jar. What am I doing wrong? It always seems to go well and then I get discouraged and start over..
