Hi Samirah, I'm so sorry to hear that your sourdough starter is failing to rise, but bubbling is always a positive sign, and picked onions doesn't sound too worrisome either. If I were in your shoes I would continue feeding my starter, but consider converting it to our smaller starter routine, which will help save your flour, at least until your starter begins to rise predictably. Without knowing a little more about your feeding routine I'm reluctant to suggest changes, but adapting to our smaller starter recipe is a good place to start. I hope this helps!
