Sorry to comment again, and perhaps this is a silly question, but I would be grateful for clarification on one important point! The instructions say "For each feeding, weigh out 113 grams starter; this will be a generous 1/2 cup, once it's thoroughly stirred down. Discard any remaining starter." I just realized that I have been scooping out a generous 1/2 cup and discarding this amount and working with what's left of the starter (i.e., this is the portion to which I am adding flour and water). Now that I'm re-reading these instructions, it seems the generous 1/2 cup is what I should have been saving as the starter each time? This would almost suggest the need for a new container each time so maybe my re-read is a misread, but now I'm totally confused! Please help.
