Hi,
I created my own starter about 3 weeks ago. the starter I used was not a KA recipe. I took some out to get ready for baking, but i started using the KA method of feeding. 4 days, 2 feedings a day later, and my starter never rises and has minimal bubbles on top. I feel I've wasted so much flour (though I've used discard recipes) and I'm not understanding why it's not rising and getting ready to bake with. Is it because I used a different starter recipe? Thanks for any help
