I am trying my hand at using a starter for the first time as a friend gave me one to try, I'm afraid I've already ruined it after the first day of feeding it. I read the instructions wrong and only fed it the potato flakes, I did not use sugar or hot water and left it that way all night. What can I do to salvage it?
