I wanted to comment since I couldn't find an answer to my problem anywhere. After 10-12 days, my starter still was not bubbling a lot. I looked at every website and tried everything I could. I finally figured out it was because I was using a jar with a tupperware lid and putting on the tupperware lid at night. Once I realized and started leaving the lid off, the starter took off. So don't use a glass jar with a tupperware lid and put the lid on tight. I might be the only person not smart enough to have figured that out, but I thought I would share in case someone else did the same thing!!
