Hi Amanda, I think you may have an uphill struggle if you try to begin your sourdough starter with bleached AP flour. For best results I'd wait until you can get a hold of a whole grain flour and unbleached AP. Remember that it's okay to start small, as this alternative sourdough starter recipe recommends.
