I’m new to sourdough and I’m using the KAF sourdough starter recipe. It smelled pleasantly yeasty yesterday and was slightly bubbly and seemed to have “grown”. However, the starter smelled really bad this morning (day 3) - definitely not a “fresh, fruity” smell :( I was worried, but didn’t want to give up so soon. I did feed it twice today and the smell isn’t quite as bad now, but still worse than expected, I guess. I wanted to check a trusted source to see if I should continue or start over. Thanks!
