I am wondering if my starter is too wet. Are you supposed to dump off the "hooch" or just take part of it out as you remove and replace? I have been taking out 1/2 cup and adding in 1/2 cup flour and 1/2 cup water. I'm thinking maybe I should be adding back in only 1/4 cup of each. Do I need to start over it can I just add more flour too make the consistency correct?
