This morning my so called starter had a very strong aroma. It had a tanish cap on top of it of which I removed and the smell dissipated. I started this starter about a week or so ago and made with red grapes as the wild yeast and sugar feeder. I removed the grapes when it started to ferment and the everything went South after that. I threw it all out and kept cup and half and fed with 1/2 cup flour and same with water 4 days ago and which led it to today with the smell Need Help
