Your step #3 is incorrect/misleading. 2 parts starter: 1 part water : 1 part flour would be 1/2c starter : 1/4c water: 1/4c (57g) flour, NOT 1/2 cup (2 ounces, 57g) starter for the last component as you have in two replies above.
