Hi Laura P., I checked out this sourdough plan and it looks fine, but, like any sourdough process, it will take time and patience. I hope by now your sourdough starter is rising and bubbling vigorously, but if it isn't it may be helpful for you to find a place for your starter to dwell that is more consistently in the 70's, as 60-65ºF temperatures will definitely slow down fermentation. This blog offers some tips for finding a warmer spot for your dough to rise, many of which will also work well for your starter. And cuddling your starter isn't a bad idea either!
