Feed with a ratio by weight of 2 parts starter : 1 part water : 1 part flour. For example, save 1/2 cup starter (4 ounces, 113g) and feed 1/4 cup (2 ounces, 57g) water + 1/2 cup (2 ounces, 57g) starter.
Do I use 4 ounces starter and then feed 2 ounces water +another 2 ounces starter? or is it 4 ounces starter and then feed 2 ounces water + 2 ounces flour?
I have been using organic unbleached AP but would like to switch to whole wheat for the feeding?
Sorry just a little confused. I am a beginner so just trying to get used to all these terms as well. Thanks for you help in advance.

So in this example, where do we add flour?
