Thank you for your reply. I am on Day 7. I am still feeding my sourdough starter once a day. I am ready to give up. My starter has been runny since Day 4, a few tiny bubbles at the top surface, hardly any visible bubbles on the sides. Someone advised me my kitchen temperature is too cold so today I wrapped my jar with a heating pad set on low. It's been 6 hours since my Day 7 feed and wrapped with a heating pad. More bubbles are visible on top, none on the sides, no growth, just smells like flour mixture. Should I give up and start over? Thank you!
