Hi Emily, I'm sorry my earlier reply didn't get to you in time! I recommend giving it twice a day feedings at room temperature for at least 3 days. Make sure that it's rising well, has a good aroma, and shows no more signs of contamination before you use it or return it to the refrigerator. It may be fine, but any signs of pink or orange tinge/streaks should be taken seriously. This is a sign that your starter's natural defenses aren't working the way they should, so feeding it at room temperature for several days will shore up the good bacteria and wild yeast that help to keep your starter in healthy balance. We generally recommend discarding a starter that shows any pink or orange tinge/streak, but in your case because it was refrigerated and showed such a slight amount of pink, it may be worth the effort to try to resurrect it.
