I have been trying to develop sourdough starter from scratch for 11 days now. At first I thought maybe my kitchen temp of 68 degrees was too cool so I started storing it in the oven with the light on. So far my starter grows less than 50 percent with bubbles on the top. No doubling yet. I'm feeding twice a day. Am I being too impatient?
