Hi Lynn, is this a starter you're creating from scratch, or one that you ordered from us? If you're just reviving the starter we shipped to you, then it's quite likely your starter is ready to use in your baking. Look to see that your starter is doubling in size 6-8 hours after you feed it at room temperature. When you're ready to store your starter in the refrigerator, give it one more feeding and then let it sit out at room temperature for 2-4 hours, or until it begins to bubble, before placing in the refrigerator.
