Stir that "hooch" into your starter and feed it as you normally would, Dana. Signs of hooch mean the starter is very hungry; it might have gone a little too long without a feeding. However, it won't hurt to go ahead with a normal feeding using equal parts flour and water by weight. Your starter should look normal within a few hours after feeding. Kye@KAF
