Made it far back in the archives and through 3 pages of comments - one of my favorites growing up was sour cream raisin pie! I didn't realize it was regional until college on the west coast when no one knew what I was talking about... It's a cinnamon-raisin custard (presumably made with sour cream) and a meringue top.
