All interesting! I bake a lot of pies for people that buy them from me-I like the bottom brown too! Since I have to deliver the pies in foil throw away tins & they don't do the trick -it helps if I take a sharp knife & poke holes in bottom of tins before lining with the crust-I also find it helps to put on cookie sheets to bake!
