Dawn, it's a regular pizza stone, and if I'm not supposed to put it on the floor of my electric oven — I didn't know that! It lives on the floor of my oven, and has for years, and neither seems the worse for wear. I can't tell you it would be OK for your oven, but maybe you could call the manufacturer and ask?
