Hi June! If possible, we'd recommend starting by using whole wheat flour for 1/4 to 1/3 of the flour in the recipe, adding about 2 teaspoons of extra liquid for every cup of whole wheat flour. You can increase from there adding more moisture as needed. The dough will be darker in color and be denser the more whole wheat you add.
