Update, over a year later! Sorry I've been slow getting back to you, but after I finally got around to trying the fried apple pie recipe, I had to thank you! They turned out very well (of course, not as good as Mama's!). It gives me a great deal of satisfaction to be able to continue this delicious tradition! I'm forever grateful! Now, to try peach and apricot versions, when the Amazon dried fruit order arrives!
