This is a fascinating experiment. But there are some issues that I can see in it. Most autolyse methods require the use of a 100% hydration starter which actually incorporates fairly easily. Another issue that would impact the results is that most mixing of autolyse and starter, when done in an artisan fashion, are done by hand. This allows for the starter to be absorbed even more readily.
